4 is Huge

For those of you without little ones in your life, you may not know this but 4th Birthdays are HUGE.  5 is good, but not as good as 4.  I think it has to do with them just figuring out that they are their own little person.  Likely the the earliest memory they will have is around the age of 4.  So, needless to say, 4 is a big big deal, and this month Avery, the namesake of this site turns 4.  Here is the card I made for her.

About this Card
1. The new Thinlits Card Dies made this a snap, and I thought I might fool her a bit by putting the 3 on the outside.    Being almost 4, Avery likes interactive cards, especially those she gets in the mail.    She hangs them on the fridge and shows it to me when I come to see her.

2. Not only did the swinging card base come with the set, but look at all the other pieces you get too.  I used the YAY and Star as well as the Scalloped Circle.

3. I used My Digital Studio to print the words on the front.  I like how easy it is to use and incorporate just what I need into my non-digital elements.  It’s free to try, and for only $19.95 you get a ton of elements for the full version.  Then just add on what you might need as you go.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  And if you don’t have a 4 year old in your life, it’s worth finding one just to enjoy their innocence.

Lynn
