A Frozen Birthday

Of course every little girl in America is having a Frozen themed birthday party and my granddaughters were no exception.  Avery, who turns 5 later this month had decided on that theme I think last December.  Every time my daughter would ask to validate what theme Avery wanted, Avery would answer, with her hands in a ‘are you kidding me?’ gesture saying ‘Frozen!!’  Then she would roll her eyes, like only a nearly 5 year old can do, implying she can’t believe she has to put up with these silly adults and their questions.

So, Frozen it was.  We had the party on labor day, splitting the difference between both the girls birthdays, Hadley was 2 in July and Avery in September.  My other daughter is a pasty chef so she made the snowflake cake.  Isn’t it amazing.  She made blue velvet cupcakes that were delicious.  She saw it on Pinterest and recreated it.

And what party is complete without food labels.  This was my contribution to the party
