One of my favorite things to make in the fall are leaves, at least somewhat realistic looking. I know you have been seeing a lot of posts in the ether using the For All Thing stamp set but today I want to bring out a tried a true friend, the Autumn Accents Bigz Die. For realistic shaped leaves this die is the ultimate.
The color combination of Crumb Cake, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss are compliments of the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week. The sketch I used as inspiration was from Mojo Monday. All the heavy lifting was done by using these two challenges together. This card came together in about 30 mins.
As I said, I cut the leaves using the Autumn Accent Bigz die. I cut the maple out of blackberry bliss and the oak from Hello Honey. In order to soften the paper I spritz it with water using a stamping spritzer. Then crumble the paper and re-flatten so it has wrinkles and bumps.
I used blackberry bliss ink on a sponge dauber on both the leaves even though it is hard to tell on the maple. It did add some depth to the edges. For the Hello Honey oak leave it provided some much needed color.
All the stamping for this card, including the inside was done using the Choose Happiness stamp set. I purchased this set sometime over the summer and it was buried in my stamping space until I realized this week I had never used it.

Love the rounded corners on the background layers. It’s amazing what the sponging does for the oak leaf. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.
This is beautiful! Love the color combination and of course the FALL! Can’t wait for some cooler weather! Thanks for sharing
Very nice card! I liked that you used the Autumn Accents die — your leaves are beautiful. The fall papers are so nice and blackberry bliss is such a great color for fall. Happy fall to you!
