There is a new stamp set and framelit bundle available in the Holiday catalog that I fell in love with the moment I saw it. A beautiful three step stamp for the wreath, framelits for a bow, words and the wreath too. So many ways to use this set all year long. Today I went with the traditional holiday card in holiday colors.
I used brushed gold as my card base and the first layer, attached with stamping dimensional The wreath was stamped on pistachio pudding with pistachio pudding ink first, then old olive and finally with cherry cobbler for the holly berries. The 2.5″ circle punch embossed with decorative dots makes a nice background.
I cut a piece of pistachio pudding for the side, and embossed it with stylish stripes. I sponged some pistachio pudding ink lightly over the top to highlight the stripes.
Gold is in. The gold sequins are pulled from the gold sequin trim ribbon and attached with glue dots. I cut ‘Joy’ from some non-Stampin Up glimmer paper I had on hand but any of the Stampin Up glimmer papers (which I now have on order) would have been stunning here. Maybe I’ll make this again and use the red glimmer paper. Lovely

Very creative! Love the red pearls. : )
I love this beautiful card with the flat gold sequins and glimmer Joy. So pretty. It’s inspiring me to work on Christmas cards. It’s coming sooner than we think. Thanks.
