Project Life Seasonal Snapshot Accessories to the Rescue

2014octhop_badgeWelcome to the October Pals Blog Hop where we are celebrating an early Halloween and Harvest season. This month we are sharing Halloween and fall projects using our wonderful Stampin’ Up! supplies.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Sue Becker at RnR Stamping  on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

Some of you know that this past weekend I was enjoying a fun filled stamping weekend in Atlanta Georgia.  I flew down on Friday morning, spent the day with Brian King and Pam Morris helping to get ready for the gathering on Saturday.  Saturday evening the group made over 400 cards on World Card Making Day, to be donated to children in the hospital so they can give out cards to friends, family and caregivers.  We made Halloween, Christmas and Thank-you.  What a great use of our time and talents.

Well, all that being said, I was behind on my own personal crafting and was panicking over what I would be sharing in today’s Pals Blog Hop.  Luckily, while in Atlanta, I won a prize patrol gift filled with note cards and envelopes, black bakers twine and the super awesome Project Life Seasonal Snapshot Accessory Pack. I’m not a scrapbook person, however, there are so many things you can do with these accessory packs in addition to making Project Life pages.  I decided to use as much of that pack as I could to make a Halloween card for today’s Hop.  Here’s my card. Stampin Up Project Life Seasonal Snapshot accessory pack Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake, Whisper White

The spiderweb and card stock came from my stash, but everything else was included in the accessory pack.  All the elements, the chevrons, ghost, monster, raised tangerine twist dots and the little banners on the side, are all self stick.  Meaning I peeled them off and stuck them on.  Super easy to create.  The Scare up some Fun is printed window sheet included in the pack.  I trimmed it down to fit my needs and adhered it with glue dots to the crumb cake card stock.  2-IMG_1741

I also used today’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge as my inspiration for the layout.

Don’t forget the inside.  The trick or treat sticker also from the pack as well as a scary black cat.  The cat and the spiderweb on the front are from the photopolymer stamp set Bite Me.  This set came out last year and is still available for purchase.  The spiderweb make a great background element.  Click Here to see another card from last year I made using this set.
