Another Coming Home Christmas with Trimming the Town

Back again today with another of my Coming Home / Trimming the town holiday cards. I used even more of the houses I had crop earlier to make this pretty scene. The Trimming the Town Designer Series paper makes it so easy to pull together different elemets. Think of this stamp/die/paper as a year round treat. It can certainly be used for Holidays as I’ve shown over the last couple days, but also for celebrating new house buying, moving into the neighborhood, Halloween, spring time, etc.

In my previous post (you can see that one Here) I shared all the houses and trees I had cropped from the page of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. I had enough to make two cards, plus even more to be honest. For today’s card, I added some other prints from the DSP for the background, building a fun scene.

Look at all those, from just one piece (partial, because I had already used some of that sheet) of DSP!

Unlike my previous post of simple design I went all out today. It was so fun to layer the houses, and trees to get them just right.

Cherish the Season Stamp set supplied the pretty Merry Christmas sentiment, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder. I carefully snipped around the words to really show it off.

I love a great color combination. Try a combination of Real Red, Misty Moonlight and Old Olive on one of your own cards or projects.
