Happy Mother’s Day everyone.
It has been a crazy time in my house this week and it won’t be getting any less crazy any time soon. My daughter and my two grand daughters Avery (the name sake of this blog) age 5 and Hadley age 2 have moved in with us. This was unexpected but necessary and my husband and our two dogs and I are making the best of it. Needless to say our lives have been turned a bit upside down. Amongst the chaos and the noise are the wonderful moments living with two young children. Today’s card was one of those moments. Avery wanted to make a Mother’s day card for me and for her mother. Here is what we made.
I taught Avery about two-step stamping and she was soon an expert, picking her own color combinations and everything. She made several versions of this card and they were all beautiful. We used Flower Patch for the flowers, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Wild Wasabi inks.

Wow, Avery did a beautiful job on her Mother’s Day card. Two-step stamping, how impressive, fast learner, great teacher. Have a great Mother’s Day to you and your daughter.
Happy Mother’s Day Lynn!
Aww, thanks Tony. Enjoy your family today!
