I recently participated in a fun card swap with some of my fellow stampers. One of the cards I received from fellow Demonstrator Karen Szczepkowski used the Beautiful World stamp and die bundle. These products are retiring at the end of this month so don’t delay if they have been on your list for a while and you have yet to pick them up. The stamp set is perfect for travel, and graduation cards plus many more.
I haven’t done this style of fun fold for a while and I’m always surprised I haven’t considering how fun and easy it is to make. It’s also a great card style when you only have some scraps of patterned paper available.
To make this card cut a piece of cardstock to 4-1/4 x 11 and score at 5-1/2.
On the long side cut at 1-3/4 and 2 inches. Fold at the scoreline then Cut the 2″ piece down to 3-1/2″ long.
Next, Cut two pieces of DSP at 1-1/2 x 4. Cut one piece of DSP at 1-3/4 x 3-1/4. Layer DSP on panels.
I recommend stamping the inside piece of white cardstock first using a Stamparatus if you have one then adhere it to your card base before adhering the other panels.
The easiest way to adhere the panels is to place the bottom panel lined up with the bottom edge of the card base, then adhere the vertical panel to the top and bottom.
