Rustic Harvest Pumpkins

August started yesterday (how exactly did that happen when New Year was just last week?) and that means it’s time to think about your fall Birthdays, anniversaries, and general Fall card needs. I have a great all-purpose Fall card for you today using the new Rustic Harvest suite of products and some adorable pumpkins.

Hello, Harvest is this year’s pumpkin-filled suite with stamps, dies, and Designer Series Paper and this card show off all of those products quite nicely.

The stamps were used for the flower and the banner greeting. I stamped the flowers using crushed curry on white cardstock then colored in the flowers with dark daffodil and light mossy meadow Stampin’ blends. The banner sentiment was stamped in Versamark on Black cardstock and then heat embossed with white. I added a chalk look by using my white watercolor pencil.

Did you notice the embossing tray, etc. in the top right corner? This is a new product from Stampin’ UP! and I and my customers really love it. The tray is perfect for capturing loose embossing powder to add back to your storage container. The Embossing Buddy removes all the static from your cardstock before you stamp to eliminate all those stray dots of powder. But the best part of this little collection is the reverse tweezers. I have purchased other reverse tweezers from big box stores and none of them ever grip as tightly as these from Stampin’ UP! Those tweezers are worth the purchase alone. I used the Rustic Pumpkin dies to cut and emboss the yellow pumpkin as well as the large orange one and the cute pumpkin vines.

The Rustic Harvest DSP was used for the large orange pumpkin with the die and the two smaller pumpkins, as well as the black and white leaf, were snipped from the DSP with scissors. Of course, the background paper is from the Rustic Harvest as well.
