Enduring Beauty Birthday

Enduring Beauty Masks

I know some folks are intimidated by these masks because they have several layers and picking your colors can be daunting. But, trust me, once you use these masks you’ll appreciate how they work so easily to create a beautiful image.

For my card today I went with pale pastels and copper as my inspiration. The flowers were done in Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Wild Wheat. The leaves have Lost Lagoon and Old Olive. But to make them really stand out I used a very fine black journalling pen with the masks to outline portions of the leaves and flowers.

As you can see it isn’t ‘perfect’ but does add a lot to the image. If you have ever done Cross Stitch I equate this to backstitching once all your cross stiches are completed. It really makes the image pop, and using the masks to make the outline was very easy.
