Easter is a great time to send handcrafted cards to your friends and family, especially when you think of it in time to make them! This year, we have a grandbaby coming any day now. I’ve been a bit focused on that and realized sometime last week that I didn’t have any Easter cards to send or for me to use in my stamp classes. Not good.

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects feature Flowers & Fauna, a brilliant starting point for so many projects. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Coloring DSP
In order to make lots of Easter cards you will need a pretty but repeatable design. Brian King had posted recently a card where he had colored the background portion of the True Love Designer Series Paper that provide a start.

True Love DSP is all Black and White designs with three of them perfect for this technique. Chose a variety of Stampin Blends colors to make each card different, yet the same.

Once colored it determine a design for the rest of the card that really lets the background shine. Word Wishes Dies includes many Holiday dies, including Easter. The Coordinating stamp set A Wish for Everything provided the Happy and those along with a die-cut flower, a strip of cardstock, and some Matte Black dots it’s ready to go.
