All Is Calm Snowflakes in Elegant Eggplant

Every once in a while, I like a regal purple colored card for the holidays.  Today’s card is all white and Elegant Eggplant, a beautiful crisp combination, with a bit of silver thrown in.

Using only one stamp set and only two ink colors  it is so easy to make a striking card.  The stars from Bright and Beautiful, offset to the left and the smaller stars hovering around.  Stampin Up All is calm snowflake Bright and Beautiful Elegant Eggplant

I have to admit that the snowflake embellishments were an afterthought. I was reaching for the my frosted sequins to add when I picked up my container of All is Calm snowflakes instead.  A happy accident.  Some silver ribbon and I have a cute little garland.

  1. Beautiful! Purple is a perfectly gorgeous color for Christmas!

  2. How unexpected! I love that big purple, so striking. Off setting the big star gives it great rhythm. I could also see embossing a silver greeting and a few silver stars to replace the garland (especially good if you want to mail the card). Great design. Thanks

    • I almost did emboss the greeting Susan but I was starting out with a fairly simply card. It wasn’t until I added the snowflakes at the last min that it became more ‘wow’. : ) And by that time my greeting was already on there. That’s what I get for not planning. Oh well, happy accident.
