Thank goodness for Paper Pumpkin

The January Paper Pumpkin kit came in the mail and I was just thrilled with the project for this month.  Paper Pumpkin is a one month or on-going subscription to a craft project sent directly to you.  You never know what might be included but it is guaranteed to be fun and unique, with everything you need to complete the project, include stamps, ink, paper and embellishments.  The cost is only about $20 a month.

I figured this month would be something Valentine related and I was right but I wasn’t expecting to be able to share with so many friends and family with just this one kit – 24 of the cutest little treat bags. I made them all up, adding an all time favorite candy, M&Ms.  I actually wanted to put in the little red hot cinnamon hearts but my grocery wasn’t carrying them the day I went shopping.  Not sure how that happened as I feel like that is the best Valentine candy ever, even more so than candy hearts.  So, M&Ms it is.

21 of the 24 treat bags are going to work with me on Feb 13th.  That was really why I was so thrilled.  I have a big team of people I work with every day but kits rarely have enough in one kit to cover my whole team without purchasing multiples.  This month that was not the case, Yay me.

Paper pumpkin is a wonderful crafting escape.  It’s good for new crafters or experienced a like.  You can make it up exactly like the directions call for, or step it up with some embellishments or changes of your own.
