Today’s card was fun to make as I was able to pull out the Butterfly Basics Stamp set from the Occasions catalog. This set was on back order for a while this spring, along with the coordinating butterfly framelits so I had put it away until it was able to be purchased again. This set has such great elements for making a collage type look.
I stamped the background with Sahara Sand, Wild Wasabi and Lost Lagoon with the images from the stamp set as well as Gorgeous Grunge. The flower image was stamped with Sahara Sand then I colored it in with my blender pen and Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Old Olive and Hello Honey. After snipping it out I sponged the edges with sahara sand and popped it up on dimensionals. I stamped the large butterfly with Daffodil Delight and used the butterfly framelit to crop it. Pearls add the final touches to the butterfly and the flower.
I purposly did not includ a sentiment for this card figuring I could add anything needed later once I decided how to use it, making it very versatile for sure.
