I’ve on a trip with Paper Pumpkin. I’ve been a paper pumpkin subscriber for a long time now, but I have to say, I think this June kit was my favorite. I just love the 2 types of cards created using this kit. Here, let me show you.
I assembled this kit but as with any kit you have the option to make it your own even in little ways. I chose to use a different stamp set for my sentiment instead of the one included in the kit. Endless Thanks, a new stamp set in the catalog is a collection of several words that can be combined to form sayings. For this card I used Thankful with for your service.
One of the best things about the Paper Pumpkin kits are all the stamps you end up collecting over months. Again, I didn’t use the stamp set provided for this card and instead combined two other stamp sets from two previous paper pumpkin kits. The swirls come from the May kit and are actually only a portion of one of the stamps from that kit that I colored with Old Olive stampin marker. The Thank You so much is from the December 2014 kit. I keep all my paper pumpkin stamps in a half size wood case so I can use them again and again.
Here is another example.
If you have not previously considered getting on the Paper Pumpkin bandwagon, just go to Pinterest and do a search on Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin to see all the fabulous things people are making with their kits in unique ways. Even if you aren’t thrilled with the kit as it is designed, there are so many creative ways you can find to use them in a way that you like.
