One of the great things about having daughters is they have lots of friends that get married. Friday last week I received a text message from my daughter Kelsey that her friend is getting married on Halloween and needs table favors for her guests that will have hand made caramel inside. Her colors are burgundy and gold and she is using white pumpkins for much of the decor. Could I please make up a favor box for her to look at. Well sure.
I used the curvy keepsake box die for all my samples. They are the perfect size for holding little candies and are simple to make. For a pumpkin looking version I used plain vellum. We thought this would work best with the caramel to keep them from soaking through. I added a bit of Gold Cord and some Mossy Meadow leaves punched from the Bird Builder Punch.
Kelsey had sent me a picture of the wedding invitation and based on it I also created these two samples again using the curvy keepsake box as well as the spiral flower die and the new Festive Flower Builder Punch for the leaves.

Very elegant and perfect for a wedding!
absolutely beautiful idea for wedding!
Fantastic favor idea!
All of the samples are pretty! Something tells me you will be making lots of these:)
All are beautiful, your daughter will have a hard time deciding. Have a feeling you will be making each color for variety on each table. I would have a hard time choosing only one. Let’s us know which one was picked. My vote is all 3.
Thanks for sharing.
