One of my staff members had a birthday this month, so as usual I made a card for him. I’m especially pleased with this card and how it came out using vintage leaves and wooden elements.
I used paper from Into the Woods as well as well as the striped paper both in pear pizazz. I paired it with chocolate chip paper. The leaves were stamped and masked then stamped again for the layer look. I watercolor the leaves with pear pizzazzwith a blender pen on the chocolate chip. I took the blender pen out past the image for shadowing.
My favorite part of this card though is the wooden element. To color it I laid the wooden piece directly on the ink pad, chocolate chip for this one, then hit it with my heat gun to quicken the dry time.
