This is my second Sympathy card this week. I mentioned in my last post that I had two friends lose family memebers last week so I was making Sympathy cards this weekend. You can see my earlier card by clicking HERE.
My upline, Brian King, challenged his team to find projects to CASE (Copy and share everything) from the new annual catalog. Demonstrators are able to browse through and even pre-buy from catalogs before they are made available to our customers. I accepted Brian’s challenge and created this card.
I changed the background from the original in the catalog by adding a watercolor image from You’ve Got This. I used Watermellon Wonder as my ink color with an aqua painter. I used Botanical Blooms framelits to create the flowers to highlight the sentiment from Heartfelt Sympathy embossed in Gold. The background circle for the image is from the 2015 – 2017 IN Color paper Stack in Watermelon Wonder. I sponged Watermelon Wonder ink over the entire piece to mute the flowers in the pattern allowing for just a hint to show through.
