One of of the items I purchased early from the new catalog was Swirly Birds. It comes as a bundle with a stamp set and framelits. This is a first post of several using this set.
Many of you have likely seen all the cool swirly roses and I have some of those to show you in future posts as well, today however, I want to show you some of the other items in the set.
This card was very quick and easy. I used the other stamps to create a cute little boat. The water waves were created using the swirl stamp on pool party card stock, then used the waves thinlit to cut it out. Great effect. The thank you banner was stamped then flagged using the triple banner punch.
This card is similar. The waves are just white on white. The boat, flag and sun are all from the stamp set. Please excuse the crinkled banner. It was crooked. I cand have crooked. Guess I can have crinkled : /
