We’ll Miss You Watermelon Wonder – InKing Royalty Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! Today’s hop is filled with projects inspired by the Stampin’ Up!’s retiring 2015-2017 In Color Collection – our tributes to Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. What fun! We’ve really enjoyed playing with these amazing colors over the past two years – and we are excited to share our creations with you today. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

My favorite color of this collection has always been Watermelon Wonder and nearly tied with Mint Macaron.  I will be missing these colors greatly as we go into June when they are retired.  In thinking about this blog post the first color that came to mind was WW, Watermelon Wonder, so when I went to my stamp cabinet to pick a stamp to make the Marquee Messages jumped right into my hand.  Luckily I had a perfect use for this stamp set and this happy, happy color.

My sister-in-law (or as we call her, our sister-in-love) took a big leap recently and decided to leave her employer (a university) of nearly 20 years and look for a role in the private sector.  She landed a job right away, as we knew she would, but I know she is nervous, excited and little bit scared of her next several months as she learns the ins and outs of her new role.  Oh, and did I tell you they are selling their house and moving to a new one, with new daycare and schools for my nephews, and all the stress that in of itself bring along.  God Love Her.  I hope this card brings her some joy.
