No One is Perfect
This card was my first attempt at using the Bouquet Bunch framelits and Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. It isn’t my favorite card I’ve ever made, and perhaps that’s why I’m sharing it. We all make cards and project that come out absolutely perfectly, and some that don’t. What you all see on all the stamping blogs are generally the finished version. Possibly the 4, 5 or 10th version. We might make it look easy but trust me, we make mistakes and we make things we don’t like or think could be better.
What you plan isn’t always what you get
I had vision in my head for this card with the jar cut out of vellum with the jar framelits. However, I didn’t use the Jar of Love stamp set to stamp the jar first. I wasn’t intending to place it on top of whisper white so I didn’t think I needed the outline. When I first laid out the card front, the jar over the top of the Old Olive piece you see in the background just looked silly.
In comes the whisper white, which was boring by itself so I added embossing past and bricks. Then you couldn’t see the jar at all, so I drew, free hand, the outline of the jar on the vellum, and the table. Then the piece of whisper white with the brick was too small but already done and it just went on from there.
But you know what. No one needs to know it isn’t my favorite card, except you.

This is an awesome card! All the layers are wonderful.
I think it’s wonderful! That’s how we learn – playing around with it until we get it exactly where we want it. It’s a beautiful design – even if it didn’t turn out exactly like you want it. <3
