More Ways to Emboss

There are so many ways to take advantage of embossing powder.  Straight up embossing, embossing on Vellum, Resist Embossing and this way, embossing a cropped sentiment.

THE PARTICULARS

  • I saw this card in a magazine published by Stampin UP for demonstrators, except it used a different stamp set for the floral image, one that I didn’t have.  No worries,  I can find something else to use.  Number of Years.
  • I stamped the leaf image twice in the corner then added the Peekaboo Peach flowers (it’s a two step stamp set).  Next I created the two larger flowers with the stamps from Oh So Eclectic and cropped them out with the coordinating die. I used Peekaboo Peach for both layers of color.  For the leaves, I stamped first with Lemon-Lime Twist then over top with Garden Green
  • To make the Friend Sentiment I cropped it with the Lovely Words Thinlits.  I then used a Versamark Pen (yup, there is such a thing, I purchased mine on Amazon) and covered the word and powdered and heated.  I repeated this process to make sure I had really good coverage of all the word with the gold embossing.

  • Final touches with some Pick a Pattern Washi tape and pearls.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Stamping
