What to do when Holiday Cards are done

Well, make birthday cards of course.  And today’s birthday card uses primarily items from the Annual Catalog  with one current Holiday Catalog item as well.

I like the technique of embossing or coloring around a masked center like I used on this card.  I ran the whisper white front panel through the big shot with the Quilt Top embossing folder just on the top portion of the paper, then repeated it on the bottom, leaving a smooth white space in the middle for stamping.

I used lots of little dies from several die sets to create the floral layers.  I went through all of my die sets to find pieces that met my needs, regardless of what stamp set or bundle they came from.

I used the Number of Years stamp set, with the same colors of Tranquile Tide, Cherry Cobbler and Black for the inside sentiment.

Don’t forget the year end sales event – WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

  1. What a sweet collage of flowers and leaves. I always love the transition between Christmas cards and Spring.
