Where the Heart Is

Sweet Soiree Suite (now that is a tongue twister) has so much to offer, all coordinating within that one suite.  My card today takes advantage of that along with some Memories & More products. These two economical products can be inspiration for hundreds of cards.

THE DETAILS

There are two stars of this card.  First the beautiful cake and the vellum flower and leaves behind it.  This is one of the pre-printed embellishments in the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit.  The kit – which you will see additional projects in my coming posts – has so many items that it makes it a real bargain for $11.  Lots and lots of cards or gifts or scrap book pages can be made with just this embellishment kit and some cardstock, and it’s available until May 31.

The second star is the basket weave embossing folder. I love the extra deep embossing detail with this folder.  It makes a great background for lots of projects.   This was a free with purchase item during Sale-a-Bration but don’t despair if you didn’t have a chance to order it because it is going to be a carry over item in the new 2018-2019 annual catalog coming out June 1.

See that little bit of pink poking out from behind the basket weave?  That is a card from the Memories and More Petal Passion Card Pack.  While these cards were designed for pocket style scrapbooking, the “More” in Memories and More is for the way the products can be used in card making as well.  Here I just trimmed the original piece of 4×6 card down to the size I needed.  And better yet, the sentiment also came from that card pack.  So for $10 you get 72 cards of two sizes plus two sticker sheets and two acetate overlays.  Another great buy for the money.

THANKS

Thanks for visiting today.  Be sure to stop back again to see more projects using these kits.

  1. Such a great showcase of these products, Lynn! I love that you were able to make an entire (gorgeous) card with items mostly pulled from the M&M kit. <3
