Quick and Easy Gift Card Holder

Today’s post is all about helping you out because you forgot you needed Gift Card holders and you don’t have time to order any new products.  You’re Welcome.

This first one is made from one piece of Designer Series Paper.  Except for the tag, there is not even any glue.  The original artist, Kristina Werner, actually used wrapping paper.  Either work great and let’s face it….who doesn’t have left over DSP you haven’t used yet. Here is her video.

Measurements

9 7/8 x 8 5/8 inches DSP or wrapping paper

With the paper in portrait  mode (longest side on the side) fold in half

fold each side into the middle

fold all four corners into the new fold line

fold both sides into the middle

turn paper over and fold up each end to the point of the triangle

tuck one corner into the other

rotate 90 degrees and tuck in your gift card

I added a ribbon and a tag.  I used the Stitched All Around stamp set punched out with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch.  I cut a narrow strip of whisper white 1/4 wide, stamped the ‘for you’ and then punched it out with the circle punch as well then glued it over the tag.

Don’t let your gift cards go holderless!!
