What I have figured out is that most folks who love paper crafting, have done some other type of crafting before too. I’m no exception to that observations. I’ve crochet, knitted and done some painting. I’m not great at drawing. Boy do I wish I was, but I’m decent at coloring. Today’s post is a break from paper crafting so I can share with you some recent painting I did.
I purchased these heavy ceramic figurines at my local grocery. I immediately felt like they could use some color. I purchased some acrylic paint and went to work.
I really focused on the eyes. That is the most important aspect to me. But I did add color all over the bunny with a light grey and of course pink for his nose, cheeks and feet.
The smaller concrete birds I only colored parts. To color all of it would have been overwhelming.
I hope you liked my brief departure from cards. My husband had his second knee replacement (in 6 weeks) this week and this was a quicker post to share with you all. He is doing great. Until next time
