I made this card to send to my Mother for her 80th birthday this past Saturday. The card is as unique as she is and we are all so thrilled to see her hit this milestone.
I also wanted to kick of this weeks posts where I’ll be featuring the Free As A Bird suite of products. This suite is just amazing. You can color, you can stamp, you can snip and make a different card each time. I’ve taken advantage of the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper, all of which will be available for purchase June 4.
I used on design of the DSP for the background. I snipped out the birds featured on the front from another design from the DSP. I cut the branch using the
I saw this ‘fancy fold’ a few weeks ago and fell in love with the idea of how it folded back on itself. My inspiration is from Killeen House Studio, you can see that post Here. The cut is just a little tricky but really fun to use.
This is the inside. I cut a stitched square using whisper white to cover the folded front.
