Perennial Essence Sneak Peek – Fancy Fold

For my project today I wanted to show of some more of the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper  and Stamp Set as well as trying my hand at a new Fancy Fold card Style I saw for the first time last week. I have shared a lot of projects with this suite of products lately and I hope you have checked them all out.  If you want a refresher on each you can see them…

Inspiration

I first saw this design of card in the Pals Blog Hop on May 8th by Mary Hansen at Up North Stampin.  You can see her original post HERE.  A HUGE Thank you goes to to Jackie Bultje at the Pampered Stamper for her design of this fun fold called the Double Point card.  Mary and I both used her video to learn how to make this card.  Go HERE to see her video!

Layers and more Layers

On the surface this doesn’t scream out fancy fold but look what happens when the Stitched Nested layers – a sneak peek of dies available June 4 – are lifted.

It opens to the second sentiment. The points were made using both sides of the same Designer Series paper.

Finally there is a full card behind the front for messaging along with the double points on the front. I carried over the same Designer Series Paper from the front as a layer in the back.

I really hope you as intrigued with this suite of products as I was and will give them a try yourself.  On Wednesday May 22 I will have a project for you as part of the InKing Royalty monthly Blog hop.  Our theme this month is Remembering.  Make sure to stop and see what all the hoppers have made for you.  Until Then…

Happy Stamping
