This week’s posts are all dedicated to the Perrenial Essesnce Suite of products in the new catalog (June 4). I wasn’t able to attend On Stage, an event where demonstrators are introduced to new products, techniques and business tips this year. But I fell in love with the Designer Series Paper in this suite from first glance. It is almost – I said almost – too beautiful to cut. But today’s cards show off some that lovely DSP and the coordinating Vellum.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is styled off of the Impressionist painting. I love that style and I use prints in my home decor. These are beautiful enough you might want to frame them.
This series of paper coordinates with 10 – yes 10, of our Stampin Up colors. One of my favorites is Blackberry Bliss. I used that on the card above as the card base and a layer under the DSP.
Each piece of DSP is designed on both sides. My second card uses the flip side of the same paper above. Totally different colors with those impressionistic flowers.
This suite of products includes a stamp set and punch bundle. Floral Essence and Perennial Flower. There is also Ribbon, vellum, and flower centers you’ll see later this week. I stamped the perennial flower image on some of the peach vellum with versamark and heat embossed with white. Then punched with the perennial flower punch and layered them together with glue dots. The set also coordinates with the three leaf punch already available in the current catalog. I use that punch all the time. I punched out the leaves using the green vellum.
Thank you for visiting today. Please stop back on Wed for a 3D project using the Perennial Flower punch. Until then,
Happy Stamping
Lynn
