Good Morning Magnolia – Day ‘3’D Magic

Have you been enjoying the new catalog.  I am.  It’s amazing.  Today I’m sharing a project that uses two of my favorite suites of products now available.  Magnolia Lane and Verdant Garden DSP but before we get started let me remind you of my Retired Items I have for sale.  To see the most current list ….

Isn’t that gorgeous.  I made that beautiful magnolia flower with a punch and some dies.  I followed along ALMOST exactly like the video here from Stampin Up.  I’ll let you watch it then fill you in on what bits I changed.

You’re back, great….essentially, the flower is just the same.  5 punches of the Hot Air Balloon punch, and one each of the petal dies from Magnolia Memory.  However,  I stamped out the large flower and leaf image from the stamp set, colored in the leaves, then snipped them out so I could place them more strategically on my mini pizza box.  Of course after I finished snipping the final leaf I realized what a dummy I was and I could have used the big flower die and cut them out that way then just snipped the bottoms.  But, I like that my leaves don’t have white around the edges because I snipped them tightly.  I even ran the mossy meadow marker along the sides.

Where’s the Verdant Garden

To also dress up the Pizza box I used Mossy Meadow under Verdant Garden DSP.  Can you guess what I’m going to put inside the Pizza box?  If you guessed 3×3 cards made with Verdant Garden DSP you are absolutely right.  Gold star for you.  But you’ll have to stop back on Monday to see them.

Thanks for visiting and don’t forget to check out all the retired items I have for sale.  Until Then…
Happy Stamping
Lynn
