First, I want to apologize for the delay in posting. I intended to have a post on Wednesday but I had a little issue that prevented me from doing much typing. The good news is that this is a one-stop for several projects using the come to gather Suite of products. Let’s get started.
Parcel Box
How cute is this Parcel box? I used the Perfect Parcel die set to create the box meshing it with come to gather stamp set and DSP. It is large enough for several treats or even for a gift card tucked inside.
- Cut one piece of cardstock in half at 4-1/4 on the short side so you have two pieces of cardstock 4-1/4 x 11.
- Stamp large leaf from Come to Gather repeatedly on cardstock then cut out two pieces with die.
- Assemble your box. For a great video on how to assemble these boxes, cause they were a bit tricksy checkout Julie DiMatteo’s Paper Pixie video.
- The sleeve was made with two pieces of DSP both cut 9 inches long. I made one piece 2-3/4 wide and the other 1-3/4 wide.
- I used dies from Perfect Parcel for the sentiment from Come to Gather.
- I added a leaf from the Gathered Leaves die cut out of whisper white. This die cuts and embosses both. I added Pretty Peacock and Mint Macaron ink with sponge daubers.
Gather Together Card
- This card was made by cutting a card base from Pretty Peacock at 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2. I placed DSP on the front and then cut out leaves from the Gathered Leaves die set through both the DSP and the Card Stock.
- Place another contrasting piece of DSP on the backside of the card front. If there is a direction to the DSP, make sure the pattern is the right way when the card is opened.
- Stamp sentiment on wooden elements from the suite. Sponge around the edges.
- The pumpkins were snipped from the DSP and then watercolored with an aqua painter.
Mini Treat Box
- One last adorable little treat holder with the new Mini Treat holder dies. This is similar to our previous larger die (retired) but much smaller and just adorable. One piece of 6×6 paper does the trick. I added a stamped then die cut leaf and some twine.
Thank you for visiting today. I’ll be back next week with another set of projects. And remember, the Holiday Catalog goes live on September 4. If you would like a catalog and don’t already have a demonstrator, leave a message in the comments and I’ll get one out to you. Until next time…
Happy Stamping
