Gift Cards are everyone’s go-to gift idea. But why just give one in an envelope? Dress it up and make it a part of a gift with a Gift Card Holder. Here’s How.
Greeting Card Gift Card Holder
Certainly, gift card holders can be made using a card style like this one. Find a place to add a pocket and you have a gift card holder.
This gift card holder looks like a great Christmas card, but the pocket on the inside is the surprise.
- Cardstock cut to 4-1/4 x 11 and scored at 5-1/2 and 1-1/2. Remember, tape down only the two sides of the pocket so your card can slip in.
I am so lucky to have a friend like Julie DiMatteo. Julie hosts ThePaperPixie.com. If you haven’t been to her website you definitely need to check it out. She makes great cards and awesome 3D items. I’m can make a simple box myself but I always turn to Julie for the best ideas. She posts videos for all her 3D items and they are easy to follow along with all the measurements and tips on creating.
Origami Gift Card Envelope
This origami gift card holder by Julie DiMatteo at The Paper Pixie is an envelope that is so fun to make. I added a layer of cardstock and whisper white to the inside to write a little note on. The gift card fits in front or in back. Be sure to put it in before you tie the ribbon. Here’s a video from Julie.
Hershey Kisses Gift Card Gift Box
This treat box Gift Card Holder, also from Julie holds the card tucked away in the back. I was able to put 5-6 Hershey Kisses inside the box. Who doesn’t love a treat with their card? Here’s a video on how to create it.
Merci Chocolate Gift Card Holder
This is one of my favorites. Julie designed it to hold three Merci chocolates and a gift card. It is nice and solid and a pleasure to make and give, even better to receive. Here’s a video.
Thank you for visiting today. I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible. Until then…
