In February there are some additional products Stampin Up is releasing for purchase. The special thing about these items is they coordinate with other products either in the Jan – June Mini Catalog or Sale-A-Bration items. I’m sharing today one of those products but I want you to see how you can use it with other products you might already have, not necessarily with the one it was intended to coordinate with. Sound confusing. Probably. Here let me just show you.
My card uses the Free as a Bird stamp set and Designer Series paper along with the Coordination Product called Nature’s Thoughts.
But when I was looking at the stamp set I realized many of the elements could be used on their own, and not have to be used with the stamp set. I started with that awesome frame die and built my card around that.
The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper caught my eye as I was looking for something to go with the frame. I liked how I could use the feather with the birds and the little leaves with the flowers. I fussy cut the several designs to create a collage.
This picture shows the detail on the leaves. I sponged old olive on them to add dimension. I sponged the feathers with calypso coral and petal pink. It really makes them more interesting than just plain cardstock.
All the coordination products are available for purchase Feb 4 so mark your calendars now.
Thank you for visiting today. I always appreciate your comments and answer all questions as soon as possible. Until then…
Happy Stamping
Lynn

I adore this card, Lynn!
pourriez vous me donner les dimensions de cette cartes svp merci d’avance
Hi Laurent. Measurements, in inches are 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 card base scored at 4-1/4. The corrugated piece is 4 x 5-1/4. I’m going to guess the die cut piece is 3 x 4 or so.
