I’m back with another sweet card using Birds & Branches. Full disclosure, I totally cased this card from the new annual catalog going live today June 3. You can see Stampin’ UP!s version on page 120, upper left corner. Sometimes when working with a new stamp and die bundle it is a great way to get started by casing something you already know works. I’ve made four cards with this bundle and two of them I cased from the catalog. What great inspiration you can get from there.
I changed up the background paper by including a piece of Misty Moonlight design from Flowers for Every Season DSP. I like how it adds another complementary color to the layout without overpowering it.
My card on Monday was all about the Birds & More die set and I did use a lot of dies on this one, I also used a lot of the stamps as well.
The nest is stamped with Crumb Cake, the eggs are stamped with Coastal Cabana and the Bird was stamped with Basic Gray. After stamping the bird, I used my crumb cake and Calypso Coral Stampin Blends to color in some detail.
Sweet Baby is a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings and it fits neatly in the Classic Label punch.
