My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Florida to visit friends and family. We had a wonderful time, enjoying the upper 80’s temperatures and ocean breeze, only to return to Ohio where Autumn has definitely arrived. Last year on Oct 1 the temp was 90, today our high is only 65. What better reason to make a new Autumn card with Autumn Greetings.
Before I get to my project, let me direct you to an amazing Designer Series Paper Sale going on this entire month of October. 15% off select designs. Click Here to see more.
I only recently purchased the Autumn Greetings stamp/die bundle (155198) and was itching to ink it up. There is one large image perfect for coloring, but my card today focuses on some of the other die cuts available.
I pulled together a very ‘yellow’ color scheme today, using bumblebee for the wheat, pumpkin pie for the pumpkins and gold accents from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla the same size as the gold foil and adhered them together so it could be popped up with dimensionals.
To give just a bit of alternative color, my sentiment from Autumn Greetings is stamped in Pretty Peacock and die cut with the smallest stitched circle from Stitched Shapes Dies. You might not remember those embossed leaves. They are from the Nature’s Roots die set and added some more texture.

These laser-cut designs are gorgeous – and so is your card. Thanks for the reminder that I need to pull those out. ♥
