One of the new products in the Annual Catalog is Ombre Gift Bags in all the new 2021-2023 In-Colors. These bags are so cute all by their lonesome but I wanted it to make something a bit more special by turning it into a cute embossed pocket card with the All Things Fabulous stamp set.
It was a happy day when I realized the Pretty Flower embossing folder just fit inside the gift bag. How pretty is that Ombre color with the embossing? Once I discovered that I was on to figure out what else to do with the bag. All Things Fabulous stamp/die set was just the right flower to enhance the embossing.
Steps to creating Fabulous Pocket Card
- Use the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and emboss the Ombre Gift Bag. The bottom of the bag won’t emboss so fold it back and adhere to the back of the bag with a tape runner.
- On a piece of scrap basic white stamp leaves in Evening Evergreen. All things Fabulous is a two(three) step-stamp set. Ink largest flower with Polished Pink stamped off twice. Stamp second largest flower in Polished Pink stamped off once. The smallest flower is stamped with Polished Pink full strength. Stamp stem in Evening Evergreen, then stamp bud in polished pink stamped off once. Stamp small bud in full strength polished pink.
- Die-cut all flowers, leaves with fabulous floral dies. Die-cut the largest Tailored Tag from basic white.
- Use items from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack as accents behind and around the tag as shown. Adhere with glue dots. Adhere flowers and leaves with dimensional and glue dots.
- Stamp sentiment from All Things Fabulous on basic white with Evening Evergreen and Polished Pink. Die-cut using the banner die from Bloom Dies. Die-cut the banner again to fit the sentiment and adhere to the bag with dimensional.
- Stamp 4 x 5-1/4 piece of basic white with flower and leaves.
