Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop! During this year’s blog hops, we are having fun with our stamping favorites – our favorite themes for seasonal cards and projects. This month’s projects are all about party fun – festive gatherings like New Year’s, birthdays, and other fun times and all the treats that go with them. How fun! We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
But before I go on with my post I want to wish my Stampin’ UP! leader and creator of this Blog Hop, Brian King, a very happy birthday. Here’s to you Brian, may you have many more to come.
Treats for all
After more than a year of not being able to gather, I’m lucky enough to be hosting two Holiday Parties this year. One with my family and one with a group of ladies I play Mahjongg with every week. What fun. This is my table setting for one of them. ‘ve been busy working on crochet items for family and friends. I made 9 of these adorable Santa gnomes to give away. The table will be set with their very own gnome to take home along with a super fancy Paper Plate, napkin, and treat boxes.
I totally stole the treat boxes from Julie DiMatteo at PaperPixie.com. Every year around this time she showcases something that steals my heart and I make multiples of them to give to friends and family. I changed up the cardstock, DSP, and Ribbon but the boxes are made the same way. Check out Julie’s Post and Video for full instructions.
Buffalo Plaid is so on-trend right now and I totally went with it. I have Red and Black Buffalo Plaid tablecloths coming later today, but not in time for my picture taking for today’s post. I found the plates, napkins, and plastic bowl that Gnomy is sitting in all at Walmart. The yarn I used is ‘I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby.

The treat box is adorable. But I really love your gnome!!!
Thanks Jackie. I made 9 of those gnomes last week. They were so fun. Each is a bit different.
These boxes are ADORABLE! I love how coordinated they are with your decor.

I love it all, but I especially love the gnome. Would you be willing to share the directions for crocheting him? Thank you!
