Yesterday I shared a one-layer card made using the Oceanfront stamp set. You can see that Post Here. In keeping with that theme, today I’m sharing another one-layer card this time using Expressions of Friendship. You might have passed over this set in the back of the Jan-June mini catalog as it is a Hostess set, meaning you can order it using your host Stampin Rewards for orders over $150. But what a great set it is.
I went super simple with my card, using the Stamparatus to ink up the large main image and sentiment with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Then I started coloring. I didn’t do any shading with light and dark blends, rather I just used the one shade that worked for my picture. You can see a full list of the blends I used at the bottom of this post.

I had to add just a bit of texture to my Expressions of Friendship card and chose the Loose Flowers Flourishes from the annual catalog on page 141. They were perfect for adding dimension and interest.
