One of the wys I keep my creativity fresh is to find ideas from others. I’ve found that if i don’t look for creativity ouutside of my own head, I get in a rut and allmy cards look the same. Julie DiMatteo at The Paper Pixie had a really ccute but simple card using layers of Circles. I took her idea and made my own version. you can see her card HERE.

For my card I used three patterns of the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper that was free during Sale-A-Bration to cut my circles. Unfortunately that promotion is past, but any pattern collection would work.
Very Vanilla card base 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
Very Vanila cardstock 4 x 5-1/4 embossed with Tasteful Textiles embossing folder
Your choice of DSP with Layering Circles Dies
- 2-7/8″
- 2-1/8″
- 1-3/8″
Pinch each of the circles in half just a little bit, then use a paper trimmer to cut them in half. Layer the circles together as shown so the circles are opposite.
Stamp the sentiment from Slim Sayings (pg 52 of the Jan-June mini catalog) with versamark on a piece of Black cardstock measuring 4 x 3/4 and heat with white embossing powder. Place the sentiment flat on the card front then use dimensionals on the circle pieces above and below. Finish it off with some very vanilla matte dots.
