Leaves of Holly Christmas Wishes

July is almost over but I have one more Christmas in July card for you today using the Leaves of Holly stamp and die bundle. This is one of those cards that definitely looks better in person, with the colors more vibrant but I hope you’ll use your imagination and see why I think it is worthy of posting today.

Soft Succulent with Evening Evergreen is one of my very favorite color combinations and while they can be used for any season, Holiday crafting is best. I carried these two colors throughout my card by using them on the stamped holly leaves and the cardstock layers.

There is something amazing about two-step stamping where you stamp one color first, then another color over the top to create a much more detailed image. These Holly Leaves turn out beautifully when stamped in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. Always stamp the fuller image in the light color first then overlay the more detailed image using the darker color.

It’s hard to see in the photograph but I added some Wink of Stella on the berries and the holly leaves for just a bit of shine.
