A Grand Kid Never-Ending Card

My grandson, Max, is turning 2 this month and that calls for a pretty cool card. I remembered many years ago making a Never-Ending Card and went looking for the instructions, thank goodness for YouTube. I love this card for kids because it is fun and interactive for them and is perfect for a 2-year-old. Using A Grand Kid stamp set and some other cartoon images made it even better.

Here’s a video on how it opens. If you have grandkids of your own, the stamp set, A Grand Kid, is a must-have in your craft room. So many great sentiments to tell them exactly how you feel.

These cards look complicated but they really aren’t as hard to make as you might think. The base uses 2 pieces of 6×6 paper scored and cut. I used DSP to keep the weight down and take advantage of the double-sided patterns but it could be made with cardstock as well with additional layering on the side panels.

PaperSize
Country Gingham 22 sheets 6 x 6
Country Gingham 81-1/4 x1- 1/14
country gingham 61-1/4 x 2-3/4
black 62-7/8 x 2-7/8
blackscrap for sentiment
white 62-3/4 x 2-3/4

If you would like to make your own Never-Ending card, take a look at the video I found on how to create it. Karen Titus does a great job demonstrating how to make this card.
