Case for Inspiration

It’s been a while….

It seems a long time since I’ve posted a crafting project. And it has been a while. Hubby and I went on a European vacation for two weeks and then came home with colds so it’s been slow getting back to normal. Today I’m sharing some cards I created for a card class last week but they were all CASEd from other artists. Sometimes you just have to do some copying in order to get back to the business of creating your own designs.

This was one of my favorites, cased by Stesha Bloodhart at StampinHoot.com. Using Dainty Delights, stamp the floral images on watercolor paper using petal pink. You just want an outline of the image to guide your watercoloring. I used Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Calypso Coral, and Mossy Meadow with a fine-tipped paintbrush and very little water. The Sentiment is from Marigold Moments (ret) and the splatter stamp is from Color & Contour.

This card was cased from Lori Pinto at Lollypoppaperandink.com. I used the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series paper that looks fabulous in Boho Blue and Coppy Clay along with some die cuts from Timeless Arrangements. Again the sentiment is from Marigold Moments (retired).

My last card today was cased from Mary Fish at StampinPretty.com. She is one of my favorites and when I’m stuck I can always find inspiration on her site. This card is all about stamping in Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow, Fresh Fressia, and Early Espresso. The Sending Smiles stamp/die bundle is one of my favorites.
