Grateful for Nature’s Sweetness

What do you do the week after Christmas besides returns? You make thank you cards for the gifts you received, that’s what. I’ve been using the Nature’s Sweetness mega-suite coming in the new Jan-Apr mini catalog to make my grateful cards to share with you today.

Card #1

All of my projects today use the Nature’s Sweetness DSP in various ways. One of the sheets from this paper pack has 6 images ready to use or color. I’ve chosen three of them plus one card with a stamped image. All the colored images were done with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. What an easy way to color, even if coloring isn’t your thing. Just color with the pencils then go over the color with your blender pen to smooth out the lines and add vibrance.

To create the checked background I used a brayer to ink the bumpy side of the cross hatch 3D embossing folder. This adds the color just in the grooves for added color, but not too much. Then I die cut with the next largest Perrenial Postage die, also a new product in the mini catalog.

Card #3

I used the leaf image from Notes of Nature and stamped on my Pebbled path card base with versamark then heat embossed with white for a background. The image was colored with watercolor pencils and blended with a blender pen.
