Flight & Airy from Sale-A-Bration

How fabulous is this card? I created it using the free Designer Series paper Flight & Airy and CASEing the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) brochure on page 6. You can see the print version of the SAB brochure and the new mini catalog HERE.

I was in love with the birds from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper – free with $50 purchase that I snipped out with scissors. SAB really is the best time of year.

I cut circles from Stylish Shapes to create the circle background for each of the birds then used a water painter and some Bubble Bath and Daffodil Delight ink to make a wash effect. The branches were cut from Pecan Pie using the Horse and Sleigh and Perennial Lavendar. The flowers were punched from Petal Park Builder Punch the pressed into a foam mat to shape.

If you notice, the sentiment banner is a light pink. This was achieved by die cutting white cardstock with the Stylish Shapes die then coloring with light Bubble Bath blend. This makes for a lighter color than an actual piece of cardstock and fit the design nicely.
