Cheerful Daisy Fun Fold

The Internet is a great place to find inspiration. I’m always trolling stamping sites, Pinterest, and You Tube for my next card idea. My card today came from Debbie Mageed at SecretStamper.com. She posted this card layout about two years ago and took her inspiration from Splitcoaststampers.com. I modified both versions to create my own and used Cheerful Daisy Stamp/die bundle and Fresh as a Daisy DSP, a paper I admittedly have been neglecting for several months now. Shameful.

The card front has a lot going on, but it all works together. I used several different die cuts from the Cheerful Daisy dies for the diamond spaces and kept my color scheme to that in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP – Moody Mauve, Bubble Bath and Wild Wheat.

The inside, previously covered by the fancy front shows off a sentiment as well as some additional die cuts on the second panel. I created the triangles by cutting squares of cardstock and DSP then cutting them in half on the diagonal. I ran the Fresh as a Daisy Dsp through the dotted 3d basic embossing folder for added texture.

There are certainly lots of pieces and parts on this card but it’s still a fun card to make if you have small amounts of coordinating DSP like I did with Fresh as a Daisy in your stash you want to use up.
