Hello Fun Fold – I’m back with another Beautiful Autumn card to share, this time as a fun fold. I saw this fold on StampinPretty.com and decided to recreate it as an autumn card, rather than Christmas. Click on the link to see Mary Fish’s original.
What is nice about this fun fold card is it is made with a standard size card base 4-1/4 x 11. Score at 3-1/2 and 9″. Two panels of DSP were cut first as a piece 4 x 5 then cut on the long side at 3-1/4. This allows for the patterns to match up on the panels when adhered to the card, a nice detail.
I chose to use two pieces of ribbon, each tucked under the DSP to make the tie. The long piece on the left is 9″, the shorter piece on the right is 6″
TIP: Only put adhesive on the left side of your bottom panel. The remainder will hang over the other panel of the fun fold.
Just Saying Hello – Isn’t that sentiment just perfect? It comes from the Tasteful Textures stamp set, a part of a Stamp/Die bundle (save 10%) with the Tasteful Labels. I like how it fits inside the largest stitched square die.
I have had a lot of fun using this soft color combination for these Beautiful Autumn cards. I’m not a huge fan of some heavy colors oftentimes seen in fall and I think that is why I like these so much. The very vanilla gives it just enough warmth for this hello fun fold card
