Today, I have a cute little favor box to go with The Paper Players Fall Themed ABC (Anything But a Card) Challenge #157. When I saw the challenge this week I immediately thought of the favor boxes I had made a couple of years ago using the milk carton Big Shot die from Stampin UP. Adding a fall color theme tag and you’ve got a wonderful little gift filled with something special just for them. Hmmm, maybe candy corn!
About the box
1. To make the box I cut two pieces of pumpkin pie card stock with the milk carton die. Then I cut off one section of each piece so there are a total of 6 sides. Fold on all the score lines and attach at the sides. Fold in the bottom panels and attach with sticky strip. I hole punched the top of the box and threaded twine through it with a bow finish.
2. For the tag I wanted it to have fall themes so I used a non Stampin Up wheat stamp with crushed curry ink on crushed curry paper. I then snipped it out and snipped around the wheat ends to make it a little textured.
3. The crumb cake chalk talk tag is stamped with another non Stampin Up flower that I colored first with markers then stamped so the stems and flowers colors could vary. A little sponging with crumb cake around all the edges and it’s good to go.
What I used.
Stamps: Chalk Talk, Flower Fest (retired), Ink: cherry cobbler, crushed curry, early espresso, crumb cake, white craft, old olive, Paper: crumb cake, crushed curry, pumpkin pie, cherry cobbler. Accessories: Chalk talk framelits, Milk Carton die, twine.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Cute box, Lynn! I love the shape of it, and I’m sure I’d love whatever is inside. I also like that you paired these fall colors with the Chalk Talk sentiment. While it’s not particularly fall-themed, it fits right in here.
Lynn this is such a cute favor box and I can easily picture it as a Thanksgiving place setting. I particularly like the images you layered on the tag. Thanks for much for playing along with us this week at The Paper Players!
