My nephew, Riley, turns 3 this month. He gets double cards in Oct because of his birthday and Halloween. Because he is 3 I thought he might enjoy a Circle Card Thinlit die and when I started to make it, I thought I might try and do a double circle. Here’s my card.

The inside,

About my card
1. I cut my paper at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Then folded it and ran it through the Circle Card Thinlit to get the two circles.
2. Then I played with it for about a half hour till I decided how I wanted to fold it, initially thinking it would have the circle on the left be the first one seen. Turns out that just didn’t work very well. By folding it so the circle on the right, and only one side of that was used, overlaying the circle on the left, the card folded nicely into a square and would be cool for Riley to open.
3. I chose not to go over board with stuff inside the card. He is three and very bright but I’m pretty sure not reading yet. So I stuck with stars and arrows and stuff and felt with the addition of the Designer Series Paper it was enough.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I love your comments and thoughts on my projects. Have a great day.

Wow! Lynn, this is great! How ingenuitive! These flip cards are difficult to photograph and so much more amazing in person. I’m sure he’ll love this card and will have fun opening and shutting and opening and shutting and opening and shutting it. 🙂
