Christmas Collectibles for FMS110

Today’s card is based on the Freshly Made Sketches Sketch challenge #110.  When I saw the sketch I could just see ornaments hanging on ribbon to represent the four spaces. Here is my card…

And here is the inspirational sketch.

About my card.
1.  The Christmas Collectible stamp set, and coordinating punch made this card quick to put together.  I also used the ornament from the Best of Christmas set as my outside sentiment.

2. Santa stamp, also from the Best of Christmas set was stamped in Black Stazon and then watercolored using my Aqua Painter.  I use that baby all the time it seems.  I started with cherry cobbler, then some blushing bride and so saffron for his face, island indigo for  his eyes, white chalk marker for his hat, eyebrows and beard.  A touch of gumball green for the holly on his hat and shaded his beard with smoky slate.  Lastly, some shading with sahara sand.

3.  For a little extra pizzazz I used cherry cobbler dazzling details and clear dazzling details on the ornaments and Santa’s hat.  Remember to let that dry, usually overnight, before touching or handling.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I am so far from being ready for Christmas,  How about you?   Are you ready for the Holidays?

Lynn
