Perhaps you haven’t heard but there is this amazing kit by Stampin Up called the Everyday Occasions Card Making Kit. With this one kit, you can create 20 cards, or use it to make tags, or whatever strikes your fancy. It comes with everything, and I mean everything, you need to make these beauties except for scissors and tape. Today I used the kit to make a card for one of my staff who lost his mother last week. She had a long and happy life and as he told me, she is in a better place now, but, no matter how it happens, it is hard on us to lose a parent. Here is my card.
1. As the name of the kit implies, there is something in this kit for every occassion, and while I normally would have reached for a With Sympathy or So Sorry for your loss stamp, I think the Thinking of You works just as well.
2. Everything you see on this card came out of the kit. I wanted this first introduction to the kit to be only what came inside. If I were to make it again, I might consider stepping it up with some dry embossing on the card base.
I hope you will consider this kit in the future. I’ve reached for it a couple of times now and am pleased with the versatility.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you would like to order the kit from me, just click on the picture below to be taken directly to my Stampin Up on line store.

I really like a collage-style card done well (but I’m not very good at it). This is done very well, Lynn. Love it! Love this kit, too!
